What Are Microgreens?
Microgreens are basically baby plants. Typically they are grown very densely in media for approximately 1-3 weeks until they have developed their cotyledon or “seed” leaves and possibly a set of true leaves. Microgreens are harvested by cutting the stem and leaves off above the soil, leaving the roots/seed behind.

What's in the kit?
Growing Trays & Saucers
The growing trays are made of heavy duty, recycled, food grade, polypropylene plastic, and can be cleaned and reused over and over for several years. We’ve included three trays, so you can grow two varieties of microgreens at a time.
Organic Growing Mix
The growing media is OMRI certified, organic mix formulated for propagation and growing. Each kit has four pre-measured for your gardens—making filling the trays as easy as opening, pouring and lightly leveling.
4 Seed Packets
The Kit contains four types of seed packs so you can sample different flavors of microgreens. Chosen for their flavor and ease of growing, each packet has the perfect amount of seeds for a growing tray.
Spray Bottle
The first step in growing microgreens is to keep the seeds moist. The kit has a small spray bottle just for that purpose. Fill it with clean water and use to spray the seeds while they are germinating.
